DEUX ROCHES MÂCON-VILLAGES TRADITION 2017
The Mâcon is known for it's rolling limestone hills that experience more sun, less rain,
and less risk of frost than the rest of Burgundy. The vines that produce the Chardonnay
that goes into our Mâcon-Villages 'Tradition' are planted in the clay and limestone soils
of Charnay, Davayé, and Pierreclos.
The grapes are pressed slowly in a pneumatic press. The free-run juice is then drained

"Many people tell the story of falling in love with a wine they had on vacation, and I know exactly what they’re talking about... it’s the moment
you taste it: with great friends, alongside great food and no clock ticking. This project seeks to deliver the simple wine: fresh, young, uncorrupted and pure. Bring a few bottles of Caz to the party and see for yourself!" - Winemaker Michele D'Aprix
INICERI ABISSO CATARATTO 2017
Cataratto is the most widely planted grape in Sicily. Overproduction of Cataratto led to a bad reputation among wine critics and producers concerned with the wine lake problem of the early-2000s. Fortunately, astute producers such as Iniceri recognize the potential for Cataratto when yields are controlled.
This is an excellent example of what great Cataratto in a great site can produce. A rich, medium full bodied white wine with a velvety mouthfeel, subtle minerality, and rich lemon notes.
DONATELLA COLOMBINI ROSSO DI MONTALCINO 2016
At Donatella Cinelli Colombini all the vintners are women, as is the head winemaker, which is a unique situation in Italy and a beacon of progress for women in the wine business in general. Donatella herself was approached by the EU to research the use of native yeast strains in Montalcino. As a result of her work, these local yeasts are now used in the winemaking process at Donatella Cinelli Colombini and are available to use throughout Montalcino.
In the vineyard, Donatella Cinelli Colombini has been cultivating her grapes with organic methods since 2014 and will soon be receiving organic certification.
The three doves on the label represent Donatella, her husband Carlo, and their daughter Violante. Vinification in stainless steel temperature-controlled vats for 14 days, with 2 delestage and many open-air pump-overs after the third day. The wine ages for one year in oak barriques.
