We are hosting a fundraiser for Pretty in Pink. This is a wonderful charity that helps the uninsured and underinsured pay for life-saving breast cancer treatment.
We will have games, raffles, tastings, and donations! We are working with local vendors, restaurants, breweries, and wholesalers for help and sponsorship. Stay tuned for updates.
We are pairing up with Chef Billy Cotter of Toast (and Dashi) and Piedmont Wine Imports for a very special wine dinner. We will feature some of the traditional wines and, of course, foods of Sicily. Details, price, and menu coming soon.
Join Adam Greene as we taste through a few budget-friendly, weekday wines from legendary importer, Kermit Lynch.
Attracted by the Old World wine cultures of Europe, Kermit became a retailer, distributor, and national importer for authentic wines that express their terroir. Much like his close friends, the late food writer Richard Olney and Chez Panisse’s founder Alice Waters, Kermit’s influence has been enduring. He has had so much success shining the spotlight on small, artisan producers that he has won two James Beard awards and was knighted by the French government with their prestigious “Legion d’Honneur.”
Chef Todd Whitney of Rue Cler will pair a family style meal with a four-vintage, single-vineyard vertical of old Rieslings from Austrian, biodynamic winemaker, Hirsch. These are exceptional wines that reflect the purity of the terroir and the specifics of the vintage.
Tickets are $69. This will be an intimate dinner with limited seating, and we are almost on a wait list.
Call 919-973-2001 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your seat today.

These are fun tastings, because you can walk away with a new understanding of a particular grape as well as the the importance of terroir. Terroir is a french term used to describe the influence of a vineyard’s soils, elevation, aspect, geology, climate on the winemaking process. As always, expect Cam to pull out a special bottle from the cellar.

We love Lambrusco! And as summer turns to fall, we want to remind you that Lambrusco is a year round drink. For a lot of folks, us included, LINI was the first artisan Lambrusco epiphany. This is the perfect pizza wine. The perfect everything wine in so many ways. Matt Weiss of Winebow will pour.
German wine is synonymous with Riesling, and for very good reasons. Just ask any of us here at LouElla, and we will go on and on about how we think Riesling is the noblest of all the noble grapes. That said, Germany’s rich wine making tradition goes far beyond just Riesling.
